Bill Fabbri has over a dozen years experience working with life science companies, including four years as the General Counsel of GlycoGenesys, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed biopharmaceutical company and six years as a corporate attorney with McDermott, Will & Emery in its Boston office.
At GlycoGenesys, he was a member of the senior management team and was responsible for all legal functions of the company, including contracts, financings, public-company reporting, patents and litigation. He structured and closed a number of financings, provided board guidance, set patent strategy and oversaw outside patent counsel, handled employment matters, and managed litigation counsel. In addition, he negotiated a number of licenses and agreements with academic and industry players including, Elan Corporation, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Emory University and Wayne State University. At McDermott, Will & Emery he specialized in securities and corporate matters, including IPOs, acquisitions and public company reporting.
Bill earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the New England Corporate Counsel Association.
